Liverpool have become another team under Jurgen Klopp since the German tactician took over in 2015. Liverpool once again showed their imperious ability when they face Burnley.
It was just a different Liverpool that we saw against Burnley as the Reds got back into winning ways from a difficult ground, Turf Moor when Klavan scored in injury time after Burnley had equalised Mane’s goal in the 88th minute. It’s a rare case for you to see Liverpool dig deep to get result like this.
This is the kind of improvement Klopp has brought to Liverpool in recent time. It is still however a disappointment that they have not won a trophy under Klopp but the team is gradually building from scratch and the players joining the club is what really fit the style Klopp want to play.
What is important is the support the management is giving him and the trust the fans has in him shows they believe he’s the best man to get Liverpool their first premier league of this era.
The good news is that the likes of Salah, Mane and Firmino have become entrench into the system and has been working for the team. With the trio, Liverpool might not be able to win the league this season base on the level Manchester City have been this season but it will be no surprise to see them challenge next season for the league.
What is most important for Liverpool is to keep their current squad regardless what happens to the Coutinho deal. The other members of the team has what it takes to take Liverpool to the next phase in the club history.
